THE DENTIST IS COMING TO ELKRIDGE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL!

Howard County Public School System has joined with Smile Maryland to
offer in-school dental care.
The mobile dentist is scheduled to come to Elkridge Elementary School on Wednesday January 30 and Thursday January 31, 2019.   A state licensed dentist will check your child's mouth and teeth and may provide a cleaning, x-rays, fluoride treatment, sealants and additional care such as fillings, placement of crowns over the teeth, pulpotomies, and extractions if needed/necessary.  A dental report card will be sent home with your child.  The provider will bill and collect payment from any Medicaid, insurance or other payer and you will be billed for and agree to pay any deductibles and/or copays.  If you would like your child to be seen by the dentist, please complete the Smile Maryland form (being sent home with the students) and send back to school by Friday January 4, 2019 or you may sign up online at www.MySchoolDentist.com.

We are in need of volunteers to help bring students to and from classrooms for dental checks.  If you are available to help, please contact Jennifer Tucker (Jennifer_Tucker@hcpss.org) or Marianne Jones (Marianne_Jones@hcpss.org) directly by e-mail.
