MEDIA CENTER INFORMATION
 
All EES library books are due now!  As of today, we are still missing 127 books.  For books that are lost or damaged, we accept cash or check payable to EES for the replacement cost indicated on the overdue notices.  Any questions-email Heather_Green@hcpss.org or Karen_Moroughan@hcpss.org
 
 
HEALTH ROOM NEWS
Medication must be picked up by an adult from the health room no later than dismissal (12:55pm) on Friday, June 21st.  The health room is open each school day from 9:00 am-3:30pm.  Please e-mail the health room, Jen_Tucker@hcpss.org or Marianne_Jones@hcpss.org, if you are unable to pick up the medication during that time frame.  If your child is attending summer school, it is the parents' responsibility to deliver the medication to summer school.  Any unclaimed medication will be disposed of after dismissal on Friday, June 21st.  
 
 
5th GRADE CLOSING CEREMONY
 
The Fifth Grade Closing Ceremony will be Tuesday, June 18 at 10:00am in the cafeteria. Each family will receive two tickets due to the capacity limitations of our cafeteria which is 515 people. The ceremony tickets have already been sent home with students. Additional tickets will not be available. On the day of the ceremony, the doors will open at 9:45am and all family members with tickets will enter through the side cafeteria doors.  We ask that you arrive after 9:30 due to bus and student arrivals.  Cake will be served in the gym directly following the ceremony.  Semi-formal or concert attire is suggested for this event.  After the ceremony, you are welcome to sign-out your child for the day or they have the option of staying at school for the remainder of the day.  Sign-out sheets will be located in the gym with teachers.
 
 
SUMMER MEAL PROGRAM

ARE YOU MOVING?
 
If you know that you will be relocating over the summer, please notify EES Front Office as soon as possible at 410-313-5006 or email Jenny Whitebloom (Jennifer_whitebloom@hcpss.org)
or Laura Nichols (Laura_Nichols@hcpss.org).  You will need to sign a release of records form to ensure that your child’s new school receives the records before the beginning of the 2019-20 school year. During the school year, transfer packets take a minimum of 24 hours to prepare. As we do not have a full registration staff during the summer, transfer packets and records may take longer to get to you and new school(s).
