After School Classes Fall 2016

Howard County Recreation & Parks are offering the following After-School Classes this Fall at Elkridge ES! Register ASAP to save your spot and ensure these classes have enough children to run. Register @ https://apm.activecommunities.com/howardcounty/ and type in the course number of the program (ex RP3379.601), or you may register over the phone at 410-313-7275 (8am-4:30pm, Monday-Friday).
Fall Fun Day Tomorrow at EES

We will be celebrating positive behavior with our first school-wide celebration on Tuesday, October 25. Each class will enjoy a fall craft or activity and our lobby and cafeteria will be decorated for the season.
Word Parade October 28th

Our annual word parade will be held this year from 10:00 to 10:30am in the front of the building (bus loop). Students should wear their costumes to school over their normal clothing. Students will attend specials on this day. Parties will be held in the afternoon and will be for students only. Parents viewing the parade will be invited to watch from the sidewalk.
Flu Shot Clinic, November 11

We will be in need of parent volunteers to help with the school’s Flu Shot Clinic on Friday, November 11. We will need volunteers to help walk students from their classroom to the exam and back. If you are available to help assist our health room staff, please contact Marianne Jones at Marianne_Jones@hcpss.org or Jennifer Tucker at Jennifer_Tucker@hcpss.org. If your student will be receiving a shot on November 11, please have them wear a short-sleeved shirt to help with the process.

Canvas is a learning management system that parents can login to to see calendar dates, announcements and even private email (inbox) messages pertaining to their HCPSS child. Check your notification settings to see if you are missing any of this important communication. Notification settings allow you to be notified via text, email or both if you prefer when any information is added to your child's teacher's Course. Here is how:
